"We had a really lovely afternoon today. Margaret talked about her years teaching in the village, she had wonderful stories. We looked through some old photos and she was laughing so warmly. She mentioned her hip has been a little sore this week, which might be worth a mention to the GP. Ending the visit, she said she was already looking forward to next Tuesday."

What families say

Trusted by Families Across Aylesbury & Buckinghamshire

Everwarm gave Mum something she had been missing for a long time. Someone who genuinely listened, remembered what she had said the week before, and always came back with something to talk about. The family update after each visit meant we always knew how she was doing, even from a distance. It made an enormous difference.

Sarah M., Aylesbury

What impressed me most was the matching process. They asked so many thoughtful questions about who Dad actually is: his humour, his history, what he values in a conversation. The companion they found fits him perfectly. He looks forward to Wednesdays now in a way he has not looked forward to anything in quite some time.

Helen R., Princes Risborough

I was not sure about arranging companionship for Nana. It felt like admitting we could not cope. But the consultation was warm and there was absolutely no pressure. Six months on, Nana is more herself than she has been since Grandad passed. I only wish we had done it sooner.

Michelle O., Haddenham

We were worried about Dad being alone so much after Mum passed. His companion has given him real structure and something to look forward to each week. He talks about her visits like they are the highlight of his week. We could not be more relieved.

James T., Wendover

As someone who lives three hours away, knowing that Mum has a familiar, trusted companion visiting twice a week genuinely helps me sleep at night. The updates are warm and thoughtful, not a tick-box form. It is exactly what I hoped for.

David K., Manchester (client in Aylesbury)

A companionship visit is a scheduled, one-to-one visit from a consistent, carefully matched companion. Visits are built around your loved one's interests, personality, and daily rhythm , they might involve conversation over tea, a shared hobby, a walk, a trip to a café, an errand, or simply sitting together and talking. Every visit is unhurried, personal, and focused entirely on your loved one's wellbeing and enjoyment.
No. Everwarm Companions is a premium non-clinical companionship and lifestyle support service. We do not provide personal care, nursing, medication administration, lifting, or regulated care activities. If your loved one also requires clinical or personal care, we can signpost you to appropriate regulated providers while continuing to provide companionship support alongside.
Yes. Every Everwarm companion holds an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate. They have also been personally interviewed by us and had their references checked and verified before their first visit. Your loved one's safety is never compromised.
Yes , this is one of our core promises. Wherever possible, your loved one will see the same companion at every visit. We believe consistency is not a preference, it is a necessity. Familiarity builds trust, and trust makes every visit more meaningful. We will always inform you in advance if a visit cannot be covered by the usual companion.
We will contact you as soon as possible if your regular companion is unable to attend. Where we can, we will offer a cover visit from a suitable alternative. We will never send an unknown face without prior discussion. In some cases, you may prefer to reschedule , we will always work with what suits your family best.
Yes. We take matching very seriously, and we invest real care in getting it right. However, if after a few visits your loved one does not feel fully comfortable with their companion, we will arrange an alternative match at no additional charge and with no awkwardness. Your loved one's comfort always comes first.
Matching is based on your loved one's personality, interests, life history, daily routine, communication style, and any particular preferences or sensitivities. We take as long as needed to find the right person. We will not rush a match simply to fill a slot.

A trusted, consistent companion can make an enormous difference to an older adult living alone , reducing loneliness, building confidence, and providing regular reassurance for families who cannot always be there.
Yes. Care homes provide safety and daily structure, but residents can still feel deeply lonely. A consistent Everwarm companion can visit a care home resident weekly, providing genuine connection, activities, and a familiar, caring presence. Families receive an update after every visit.
After every visit, you will receive a warm, human summary of how your loved one seemed, what they did and talked about, anything notable that arose, and what is planned for the next visit. Our updates are not clinical reports , they are written to help families feel closer and genuinely reassured, wherever they may be.
We provide personalised quotes after your free consultation. As a guide, most visits are arranged from £35 per visit. There are no hidden fees, no long-term contracts, and you can cancel with two weeks' notice. Payment is by simple monthly standing order.
